Implant Grade Jewelry

Implant grade is a rating given by the American Society for Testing and Materials that a piece of jewelry is safe to be worn in the body long term. When talking about implant grade jewelry, we’re talking specifically about Ti6Al4V ELI Titanium that is ASTM-F136 compliant or 14kt or higher nickel-free Gold with a mirror surface finish. Materials such as “surgical steel” are not safe to be worn in fresh piercings due to it containing nickel and its poor surface finish.

Safe Procedures

Every piercing performed follows a strict procedure to ensure the safety of the client. All jewelry is sterilized in a Statim 2000 right before the procedure. All needles, skin prep, disinfectants, and marking tools are single use. All tools are disinfected and sterilized in an autoclave after one use. Bloodborne Pathogens, First Aid and CPR certifications are also renewed annually.
